Porsche has officially announced the manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) for the all-electric Cayenne Turbo and Cayenne Turbo Coupé in China: RMB 1,118,000 and RMB 1,158,000 respectively (including VAT). Both models made their Chinese debut at the Beijing Auto Show. Powered by technology derived from Formula E, the vehicles feature a rear-axle electric motor with direct oil cooling, achieving an efficiency of 98%. The regenerative braking system delivers up to 600 kW of recuperation power, with approximately 97% of everyday braking handled by the electric motor. The combined output stands at 850 kW (1,156 PS), with peak torque of 1,500 Nm, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.5 seconds and a top speed exceeding 260 km/h. The Cayenne Turbo boasts a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.25, while the Coupé version achieves an even lower 0.23. Both models are equipped with Porsche’s self-developed 113 kWh high-voltage battery featuring dual-sided liquid cooling. Under the CLTC driving cycle, the Cayenne Turbo offers a range of 673 km, and the Coupé extends this to 687 km. The vehicles support DC fast charging at up to 310 kW, allowing the battery state of charge to rise from 10% to 80% in approximately 18 minutes. In the Chinese market, both variants come standard with numerous premium features, including the Porsche Active Ride active suspension system, rear-axle steering, Burmester® High-End 3D Surround Sound System, AR-HUD head-up display, four-zone automatic climate control, air quality system, ventilated front seats, privacy glass, 22-inch high-performance wheels, advanced driver assistance systems, two-tone leather interior, and a sliding panoramic sunroof. Additionally, certain personalization options—such as body-colored or high-gloss black exterior mirrors, Turbonite roof rails, and a smoker’s package—are offered at no extra cost. Inside, the new models feature a 12.25-inch OLED Flow Display central touchscreen, offering 50% more display area than the combustion-engine Cayenne. They also include a 14.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch passenger display. For the first time, Porsche introduces the “Journey Mood Mode,” which provides six customizable cabin ambiance settings that can be independently applied to either the driver or front passenger. Additional interior highlights include surface heating functions, a variable-light panoramic sunroof with nine independently adjustable zones, and optional power-operated front and rear doors. On the intelligent interaction front, the vehicle is equipped with a locally optimized voice assistant supporting multi-intent recognition and continuous dialogue. It integrates popular Chinese apps such as QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, Tencent Video, and Asphalt 9. The front passenger can use their dedicated screen even while the vehicle is in motion. The customized Amap navigation system offers lane-level guidance and intelligent EV charging route planning. Regarding towing capability, when equipped with the optional off-road package, the vehicle achieves a maximum towing capacity of 2.5 tonnes—suitable for drivers in China holding a Class C6 license.
