On April 24, 2026, the all-new Li Auto L9 Livis made its global debut at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition and is scheduled to officially launch and begin deliveries on May 15. Positioned as a full-size flagship SUV, the vehicle measures 5,255 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm. The exterior design features a shortened front overhang, extended rear overhang, a raised hood, a large bumper, and a broad-shouldered inverted trapezoidal rear end, complemented by 22-inch wheels. The body is adorned with Crystal Gray chrome trim strips that cost five times more than conventional trim pieces, along with a “diamond-cut character line” extending seamlessly from the A-pillar to the D-pillar. The vehicle eliminates 12 ultrasonic radar apertures through a seamless surface design and replaces traditional ultrasonic radars with UWB radar technology. The Li Auto L9 Livis is equipped with an 800V active suspension system and a fully-by-wire chassis specifically developed for full-size SUVs, integrating steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, and a by-wire mechanical braking system. Both interior and exterior door handles combine mechanical and electric mechanisms: the exterior handles adopt a semi-recessed design, while interior electric buttons are positioned to prevent accidental activation, with mechanical handles retained for emergency use. A 360-degree LiDAR system scans the surroundings before opening doors to prevent collisions. Each door features an independent Door Control Unit (DCU) and a power-redundant design that ensures operability under any circumstances, along with capacitive pinch-protection functionality to minimize the risk of finger injuries. The vehicle will also feature a 5C range-extending system, the world’s first “complete” fully-by-wire chassis, dual Mach 100 chips delivering a combined computing power of 2,560 TOPS, and a next-generation interior with an intelligent cockpit. Full product details will be unveiled at the official launch event on May 15.
