On April 24, 2026, Audi unveiled the E7X, a fully electric SUV developed exclusively for the Chinese market, at the Beijing Auto Show, alongside the all-new Audi A6L and A6L e-tron. The E7X is AUDI’s second mass-produced model and its first-ever SUV. It is available in two motor output variants—300 kW and 500 kW—with the higher-spec version offering a CLTC-rated range exceeding 750 kilometers. Equipped with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, the E7X comes in both five-seat and four-seat configurations. Its interior features an AI-powered intelligent assistant and zero-gravity seats, seamlessly integrated with China’s local digital ecosystem. The A6L e-tron marks AUDI’s first mid-to-large premium electric sedan. With a wheelbase extended by 132 mm compared to its combustion-engine counterpart, it houses a 107 kWh battery pack, delivering a maximum CLTC range of up to 815 kilometers. The vehicle also features augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD) and an L2++ advanced driver-assistance system. Audi plans to launch six all-electric models in the Chinese market by the end of 2026. These vehicles will be produced by FAW-Volkswagen Audi New Energy Vehicle Company based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), adhering to Audi’s global unified standards. This launch underscores Audi’s deepened collaboration with FAW and SAIC, accelerating the implementation of its electrification strategy in China.
