On April 24, 2026, the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition opened at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue). Quectel showcased a series of intelligent automotive solutions at Booth No. 08 in Hall W4, covering smart cockpits, advanced driver assistance, connected vehicle communications, and high-precision positioning. The company unveiled three cabin-network integrated smart cockpit solutions supporting on-device deployment of large AI models, tailored respectively for flagship luxury, premium, and mainstream economy vehicles. These solutions integrate 5G, Wi-Fi 6E/7, and Bluetooth 5.4 technologies to enable deep synergy between the cockpit and connectivity domains, supporting multimodal interaction and user habit learning. Also on display was Quectel’s in-vehicle AI robot based on an “One Brain, Multiple Forms” Agentic IoT architecture, powered by the MemCore engine featuring long-term memory capabilities. This AI robot proactively understands user needs across various in-cabin and external scenarios and includes a post-exit monitoring function to detect children or pets accidentally left behind in the vehicle. In the perception domain, Quectel presented a millimeter-wave radar system built on a centralized-compute satellite architecture, comprising one front-facing 4D imaging radar and four corner radars. Utilizing a hybrid design of central fusion and distributed nodes, the system reduces hardware costs and wiring complexity while supporting over-the-air (OTA) updates for perception algorithms. Its AR-enabled kick-gesture detection mmWave radar solution has already entered mass production on mainstream domestic automakers’ vehicle models. Additionally, Quectel exhibited 5G/5G-A modules, a digital key system integrating Bluetooth/UWB/NFC, a high-precision GNSS+IMU fused positioning module (designed for highway and urban NOA applications), and an ADAS solution covering functions such as automated parking, traffic jam assist, and driver status monitoring. The exhibition will run through May 3.
