CATL and BAIC Group Sign Strategic Agreement on Battery Swapping and Energy Cooperation

On April 25, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), together with its subsidiary EVOGO, signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation framework agreement on battery swapping and energy solutions with BAIC Group. The collaboration will focus on scaling up the battery-swappable vehicle portfolio. Building upon their existing partnership on the Arcfox S3 battery-swapping model, the three parties will deepen cooperation on vehicles utilizing CATL's "Choco Swap" battery-swapping technology and continue advancing the deployment and application of battery-swappable models under BAIC’s自主品牌, including Arcfox and Beijing-branded vehicles.
