During the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Zeng Qinglin, General Manager of YiJing Auto, announced that the company plans to launch nearly five new models over the next two to three years, roughly rolling out two to three vehicles annually. The YiJing brand was jointly established by Dongfeng Motor Group and Huawei on November 20, 2025, targeting the mid-to-high-end intelligent vehicle segment. Zeng revealed that approximately RMB 10 billion in resources will be invested over the next two years, with Dongfeng and Huawei having already assembled an engineering team of 4,000 to 5,000 personnel to support product development. The brand aims to achieve RMB 100 billion in revenue within about three years by continuously introducing new products to meet user demands. As the brand’s debut model, the YiJing X9 is a flagship six-seater large SUV scheduled for market launch in Q3 2026. It will be the first vehicle equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system and will feature, as standard across all trims, dual-path 896-line image-grade LiDAR. The cabin debuts Huawei’s Harmony Space 6 intelligent cockpit, featuring dual 17.2-inch butterfly-wing displays, HUAWEI XSCENE in-car laser projection, and the XiaoYi AI agent with multimodal perception capabilities, supporting functions such as pinch-protection inside the cabin and child-left-behind alerts. Underpinning the YiJing X9 is the Chitu platform, built entirely on Huawei’s XMC Qiankun digital chassis engine. The vehicle features an all-aluminum chassis developed with input from a European tuning team.
