During the "Harmony Intelligent Mobility Lounge" live-streaming event held on April 26, Yu Chengdong, Huawei's Executive Director of the Board, Chairman of the Product Investment Review Committee, and Chairman of the Terminal BG, stated that China's automotive market has entered a more systematic phase of competition. He emphasized that relying solely on a single technology or advantage in one area is no longer sufficient to win; instead, comprehensive and systematic capabilities are essential. Yu noted that beyond the full suite of solutions provided by Huawei’s Vehicle Business Unit—now operating under the brand "Yinwang"—which includes intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, intelligent vehicle control, intelligent electric systems, and intelligent connectivity, Harmony Intelligent Mobility will also empower automakers with Huawei’s decade-long accumulated expertise in consumer-facing (ToC) capabilities. He stressed that Harmony Intelligent Mobility integrates brand definition, product design, core technologies, quality processes, end-to-end lifecycle upgrades and maintenance, service systems, channel retail, and brand marketing into a complete, systematic capability framework.
