On April 26, 2026, the “Shared Origins, Integrated Chains” Automotive–Robotics–Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Chain Collaboration Matchmaking Event concluded in Beijing as an official side event of the 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. Focusing on the automotive, robotics, and low-altitude economy sectors, the event organized in-person, one-on-one targeted matchmaking sessions based on actual procurement needs from OEMs and component suppliers, significantly enhancing the efficiency of supply-demand alignment and the rate of successful collaboration. Centered on “technical exchange + precise matchmaking,” the event brought together over a dozen procurement representatives, including Volkswagen Group China, FAW-Volkswagen, Chery Automobile, BAIC Group, FAW Jiefang, Shanxi Success Automobile, Changchun Medik, Beijing Hanrui, Schaeffler, FAW Fuwei, AltAuto, Jifeng Seating, and Tianjin Longchuang. Attendees announced more than 90 product requirements on-site, spanning interior and exterior systems, automotive chips, precision machined components, various motors, chassis assemblies, and intelligent cockpits. The procurement demands highlighted significant technological convergence across the three industries—particularly in lightweight structural components, high-performance materials, precision manufacturing processes, automotive-grade semiconductors, intelligent sensors, and electrified components—demonstrating deep commonalities in foundational technologies. The automotive industry’s mature manufacturing systems, robust supply chain management capabilities, and extensive quality certification experience can provide strong industrialization support for robotics and the low-altitude economy. Conversely, the emerging sectors’ growing demand for intelligence, customization, and cutting-edge technologies is accelerating innovation and flexible upgrades across the automotive supply chain. Through rigorous pre-event demand collection, targeted supplier recruitment, qualification screening, and precise matching, the event successfully facilitated highly efficient face-to-face matchmaking, promoted optimal cross-sector resource allocation, and advanced deep integration and coordinated development among the three industrial chains.
