At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Dongfeng Yipai Technology unveiled the EQ Concept, based on the classic EQ240 model. Featuring a boxy "square-box" design and positioned as a light off-roader, the vehicle targets outdoor scenarios such as camping and fishing, emphasizing practicality. According to the company, the EQ Concept will enter mass production within the next one to two years, with its design and technical solutions fully implemented to balance aesthetics, off-road capability, and everyday usability. Meanwhile, the Dongfeng Aeolus L-series models focus on four core pillars of family-oriented vehicles: healthy cabin environment, comfortable seating, efficient powertrain, and intelligent driving. All L-series models come standard with a formaldehyde-free certified cabin, high-resilience sponge seats with a density of 70, a 1.5T engine, and the Mach Power system boasting 45% thermal efficiency. They are also equipped with the Dongfeng Tianyuan T800 intelligent driving system, delivering over 700 TOPS of computing power and supporting continuous OTA upgrades. The L9 model, scheduled for launch in October 2026, is positioned as a genuine seven-seat new energy SUV in the RMB 150,000 segment. It features a 2+3+2 seating layout—offering no six-seat variant—to ensure ample space for every passenger. The third row comfortably accommodates adults up to 170 cm tall and comes standard with “Cloud Lounge” reclining seats, enhancing ease of entry and exit. Dongfeng Aeolus leverages user co-creation and direct engagement mechanisms to enable rapid product iteration and responsive customer service.
