Tesla released its first-quarter 2026 financial results on April 23, 2026. During the quarter, Tesla produced over 408,000 all-electric vehicles globally and delivered more than 358,000 units, both representing year-over-year growth. Deliveries from Gigafactory Shanghai saw a significant increase, and the Model Y led sales in multiple markets. Benefiting from higher vehicle deliveries and growth in other business segments, the company reported total revenue of $22.4 billion, up 16% year-over-year. Tesla is currently in a major capital investment phase, with capital expenditures expected to exceed $25 billion between 2025 and 2026.
