On April 27, GAC Lingcheng unveiled its new brand MONTX (Chinese name: Lingyue) at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. Positioned as an "omni-domain crossover new species," the brand champions the slogan "Lead the Present, Leap into the Future." MONTX focuses on creating versatile camping mobility solutions adaptable to diverse scenarios, combining high off-road capability with multifunctionality to transcend traditional automotive boundaries. At the launch event, MONTX showcased two concept vehicles: the MONTX P10 and the MONTX V10. The MONTX P10 is positioned as an "omni-domain 3D mobility platform" tailored for explorers. It features four-wheel distributed drive motors, a chassis torque vectoring control system, and integrates a crew-carrying aerial vehicle in its cargo bed, enabling "land-air dual-mode" operation and seamless "vehicle-drone synergy." The MONTX V10 is defined as an "omni-domain mobile prep pod," designed specifically for digital nomads. It employs "steer-by-wire sliding steering wheel" technology and supports "dual-cabin intelligent driving" with seamless transitions between different usage modes. Simultaneously, MONTX launched its "Niu Ma Ye Xiao Yao" co-creation initiative, establishing a multimillion-yuan co-creation fund to grant global users the rights to participate in product definition, design, and development. FREEROAD (Free Road), co-founder of the initiative and Chief Experience Officer, stated that the program aims to transform user-generated ideas from concept sketches into real-world products.
