The second-generation Denza D9 officially launched on April 27, offering six variants across two powertrain options—battery electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV)—with prices ranging from RMB 359,800 to RMB 469,800. Built on an all-new dedicated hybrid MPV platform, the new model features comprehensive upgrades in exterior design, interior appointments, and powertrain systems. Exterior-wise, the vehicle adopts the "Soaring Wings" front fascia design and debuts seamless sliding door technology for the first time, available in eight color options—including the newly added Azure Silver Dual Luster and Obsidian Gold finishes. Inside, the cabin is equipped with Cloud Velvet seats wrapped in semi-aniline leather. The second-row seats offer 16-point massage, 14-way power adjustment, ventilation, heating, and memory functions, along with bespoke soft-support headrests, dual foldable tables, and a one-touch zero-gravity mode. The third-row seats also feature ventilation, heating, 4-way power adjustment, and sunshades. In terms of intelligence, the new D9 is powered by a next-generation AI smart cockpit supporting AI-powered personalized welcome, fuzzy voice command recognition, NFC vehicle control, and Bluetooth-based keyless entry. The cabin integrates 11 displays in total, including a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted screen, a 15.6-inch retractable passenger-side screen, and dual 13-inch magnetic ecosystem screens. Additional features include AR-projection-activated side sliding doors and tailgate, a Devialet 30-speaker audio system with Dolby Atmos support, and a 7.5L intelligent climate-controlled refrigerator under the center console island (operating range: -6°C to 50°C, maintaining temperature for up to 12 hours after power loss). All variants come standard with the "Eyes of God" 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system, dual-valve Cloud-Nautilus-C air suspension, and an anti-motion-sickness intelligent stabilization system. For powertrains, the BEV versions are offered in front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations: the FWD variant features a 340kW motor with a CLTC range of 750 km, while the AWD version combines a 340kW front motor and a 70kW rear motor for a CLTC range of 800 km. The PHEV variant pairs a 1.5T engine with dual motors—the engine delivers 115kW, the front motor 200kW, and the rear motor 45kW—and is equipped with a 66.5kWh second-generation Blade Battery, achieving over 400 km of CLTC pure-electric range and a fuel consumption of 6.35 L/100km in charge-sustaining mode. All models support ultra-fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes and up to 97% in only 9 minutes.
