Toyota Motor Corporation announced on April 27 that its global sales for March 2026 totaled 897,871 vehicles, down 7.3% year-over-year, marking the second consecutive month of decline. Sales in China reached 142,706 units, a decrease of 8% compared to the same period last year. In terms of electrified vehicles, Toyota reported global sales of 511,007 electrified models (including hybrid electric vehicles, or HEVs) in March, an increase of 7.6% year-over-year. Electrified vehicle sales in China rose by 7.1% year-over-year to 86,469 units.
