The Beijing Auto Show opened on April 24, 2026, drawing a large number of international media representatives, dealers, corporate executives, and engineers—making it one of the most internationally attended auto shows in recent years. Chinese automakers including Changan Automobile, Great Wall Motor, and GAC Group all invited numerous foreign guests to attend. Prior to the show, Changan held a Global Partners Conference, bringing in a significant number of overseas dealers to China for exchanges and organizing group visits to the exhibition. Other automakers adopted similar approaches. Some European dealers previously partnered with Japanese and Korean brands are now seeking collaborations with Chinese automakers to address gaps caused by insufficient electric vehicle offerings from their former partners. During the show, Chinese automakers showcased a wide range of new energy vehicles and related technologies, attracting strong interest from international dealers and creating fresh opportunities for expanding into global markets.
