Unisoc and Unity China jointly unveiled a lightweight, integrated cockpit-and-driving rendering solution during the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. Built on Unisoc’s A7870 and A8880 chip platforms and deeply optimized with Unity China’s Unity Engine, the solution enables high-fidelity, multi-screen intelligent driving interaction and 3D visualized rendering for vehicle models and controls. The A8880 is Unisoc’s flagship smart cockpit chip platform, launched in April 2025. Featuring Arm’s all-big-core architecture, it delivers a 3x improvement in CPU performance, a 6x boost in GPU graphics performance, and an 8x increase in both dedicated NPU AI computing power and audio DSP performance compared to its predecessor. On April 24, 2026, at the same Beijing Auto Show, Unisoc also partnered with ADAYO to launch a new-generation AI cockpit platform powered by the A8880. The A7870 is Unisoc’s first automotive-grade 5G smart cockpit SoC. In December 2024, Unisoc and SAIC Overseas Mobility jointly launched the SAIC MG production vehicle equipped with the A7870 chip, alongside a UWB digital key solution platform based on the A7710 series.
