On April 29, Geely’s China Star i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid series—comprising the Xingrui i-HEV and the Xingyue L i-HEV—officially launched in Hangzhou. The Xingrui i-HEV is offered at a limited-time price of RMB 96,700 to RMB 108,700, while the Xingyue L i-HEV is priced between RMB 130,700 and RMB 144,700. Both models are equipped with Geely’s i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid system, featuring a mass-produced engine with a thermal efficiency of 48.41%, achieving a combined fuel consumption of just 2.22 L/100 km—a world record certified by Guinness World Records. This hybrid system is the world’s first oil-electric hybrid technology to incorporate “AI Cloud Power.” Built upon Geely’s GEEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture and powered by the Xingrui AI Cloud Power 2.0 large model, it delivers intelligent energy management, high efficiency, electric-drive dominance, and robust safety and reliability. The Xingrui i-HEV features a 1.5L + DHT powertrain, accelerating from 0–30 km/h in just 1.84 seconds, with a power response time of 10 milliseconds. Over 80% of driving time is powered purely by electricity. In real-world congested urban conditions, it achieves a fuel consumption of 2.58 L/100 km. Standard across all trims are a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a 540-degree transparent chassis view, Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit, and the Qianli Haohan H3 advanced driver-assistance system. The Xingyue L i-HEV is powered by a 1.5TD + DHT powertrain and also supports full-domain AI collaborative control. All variants come standard with the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and the Qianli Haohan H3 ADAS suite. Externally, it features the “Silk Road Peaks” front grille, Moon Silver paint, and 20-inch low-drag aerodynamic wheels, while the interior is finished in Yadan Orange. Both models are equipped with Geely’s Shield Battery Safety System, a flat-plate liquid-cooled dedicated hybrid battery, and patented power redundancy safety technologies. Their reliability is further validated through Geely’s global extreme-condition verification system. During the launch period (April 29 to May 31), buyers can enjoy multiple purchase incentives, including deposit credits (RMB 6,000 for Xingrui, RMB 8,000 for Xingyue L), cash red packets (RMB 3,000 for Xingrui, RMB 8,000 for Xingyue L), financing offers, trade-in bonuses, extended warranty benefits, maintenance packages, and data allowances. Additionally, first owners of the Wangshu Edition will receive complimentary access to the HNOA highway navigation pilot software (valued at RMB 7,500) for five years, along with an OEM-installed dashcam. Geely’s China Star series has ranked No. 1 in sales among Chinese-brand ICE passenger vehicles for nine consecutive years. In 2025, the series achieved total annual sales of 1.214 million units, up 3.4% year-over-year. In Q1 2026 alone, deliveries exceeded 310,000 units. Notably, the Xingyue L was the best-selling ICE SUV across all brands in China in 2025, while the Xingrui maintained its position as the top-selling A-segment ICE sedan among Chinese brands from January to March 2026.
