On April 29, Changan Automobile globally debuted two new hybrid models—the fourth-generation CS75 PLUS Blue Whale Super Hybrid and the fourth-generation Eado Blue Whale Super Hybrid—at the Beijing Auto Show, unveiling their prices and purchase incentives. The fourth-generation CS75 PLUS Blue Whale Super Hybrid is positioned as a “new-generation intelligent and energy-efficient SUV,” with a price range of RMB 124,900 to RMB 142,900 (approximately USD 17,300–19,800). An early-bird reservation price is offered from RMB 116,900 to RMB 134,900. The vehicle features Changan’s latest design language and is equipped with a high-flux, high-power hybrid electric drive system and a high-performance, high-safety battery pack. Its engine achieves a peak thermal efficiency of 44.28%, delivering an ultra-low urban fuel consumption of just 3 L/100 km. The fourth-generation Eado Blue Whale Super Hybrid is positioned as a “new-generation intelligent and energy-efficient family sedan,” priced between RMB 89,900 and RMB 104,900 (approximately USD 12,400–14,500), with an early-bird reservation price ranging from RMB 79,900 to RMB 94,900. It adopts a newly developed, deeply integrated intelligent hybrid architecture. Officially reported urban fuel consumption stands at 2.98 L/100 km, while real-world testing has achieved as low as 1.6 L/100 km—roughly 50% lower than conventional gasoline-powered vehicles in the same segment. Both models come with five limited-time purchase benefits, including trade-in subsidies, tailored financing options, complimentary maintenance services, extended warranty coverage, and a complimentary in-car data package.
