At the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, CheLing Technology and Mapbox jointly launched "Lingyun Mobility," a global integrated solution for intelligent fleet management and connected vehicles. Tailored to meet the overseas expansion needs of China’s new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturers, the solution targets key global mobility scenarios—including car rentals, ride-hailing, urban logistics, and financial leasing—delivering an all-in-one suite of smart connectivity, high-precision navigation, and fleet operations management services. According to both companies, Mapbox contributes globally consistent, high-quality mapping and navigation capabilities, flexible LBS algorithms, a location intelligence engine, and access to its global enterprise customer channels. CheLing Technology provides global connectivity, an IoT platform, a fleet management platform, aftermarket hardware solutions, and deep integration with Chinese automakers. Together, they aim to build a global service ecosystem combining “technology + ecosystem + operations” to address the widespread “digital disconnection” faced by vehicles operating overseas, enabling them to stay online, intelligent, and operationally viable abroad. CheLing Technology CEO Luo Lu noted that over 70% of vehicles exported overseas lack effective remote management and location-based services, resulting in low operational efficiency. Mapbox CEO Peter Sirota emphasized that this partnership goes beyond simple technical integration—it establishes a long-term, open, and mutually beneficial global ecosystem, positioning “Lingyun Mobility” as the intelligent foundation for global fleet operations.
