SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle Division reported April retail sales exceeding 78,000 units, up 15.5% year-over-year. From January to April, cumulative retail sales surpassed 302,000 units, an increase of 5.8% year-over-year. Notably, its new energy vehicle (NEV) retail sales surged 109.6% in April and rose 72% year-over-year for the January–April period. The newly launched MG4 model achieved retail sales of over 13,000 units in April, marking its seventh consecutive month with monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units.
