On May 1, Voyah Auto released its delivery figures for April 2026, reporting deliveries of 15,146 vehicles—a 51% year-over-year increase. Among these, pre-orders for the new full-size SUV, the Mount Tai X8, have exceeded 30,000 units. The Mount Tai X8 is available in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric (EV) variants, offered across five trim levels with a pre-sale price range of RMB 302,900 to RMB 389,900. The Mount Tai X8 debuts Huawei’s next-generation 896-line quad-LiDAR system, featuring three solid-state LiDAR units, and integrates Huawei’s latest intelligent cockpit with dual 15.6-inch smart displays. In terms of chassis configuration, the Ultra and Ultra+ trims are equipped with a bi-directional 16° rear-wheel steering system, a triple-chamber air suspension, and EDC "Magic Carpet" adaptive damping technology. The vehicle measures 5,200 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,814 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,090 mm. It offers a cabin space of 6.1 square meters, second-row legroom of 1,325 mm, and a trunk capacity of 1,148 liters—expandable to 2,361 liters. Inside, it features dual下沉 folding zero-gravity seats with multiple mode options, debuting an automatic one-touch bed conversion function. The seats also include kneading-style mechanical massage and full-body ventilation and heating capabilities. For powertrain and charging, the Mount Tai X8 adopts an 800V architecture across all systems and supports 5C ultra-fast charging technology. The PHEV variant comes with a 65 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated pure-electric range of 370 km and a combined range of 1,506 km. The EV variant features a 120 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 727 km.
