NIO released its delivery figures for April on May 1, reporting a total of 29,356 vehicles delivered during the month, an increase of 22.8% year-over-year. Deliveries included 19,024 units under the NIO brand, 5,352 units under the ONVO brand (up 21.6% year-over-year), and 4,980 units under the firefly brand. In the first four months of this year, NIO delivered a cumulative total of 112,821 vehicles, up 71% year-over-year, bringing its all-time cumulative deliveries to 1,110,413 units. Starting in April, NIO entered a phase of intensive new product launches and deliveries. At the beginning of the month, the 2026 model-year ES6, EC6, ET5, ET5 Touring, and the updated firefly all commenced deliveries simultaneously. During the Beijing Auto Show, NIO unveiled the new ES8 Xuanjin Special Edition, which achieved 100,000 deliveries in just 215 days since its launch—setting a new record as the fastest-selling premium vehicle priced above RMB 400,000 in China. At the Beijing Auto Show, which opened on April 24, NIO showcased its three brands—NIO, ONVO, and firefly—together for the first time under the theme “A Vast New Realm.” Concurrently, the 2026 ONVO L90 officially launched and began deliveries on May 9, followed by the ONVO L80, which started deliveries upon its launch on May 15. The tech-laden flagship executive SUV, the NIO ES9, is scheduled to launch and begin deliveries by the end of May. Currently, deliveries of the two new brands—ONVO and firefly—are steadily increasing, creating strong synergy with the core NIO brand. With multiple new models launching in May, NIO’s product portfolio has been further enhanced, now comprehensively covering price segments from the premium to mass market.
