On May 1, 2026, passenger and roll-on/roll-off ferry services across the Qiongzhou Strait operated a total of 315 actual sailings, transporting 109,872 passengers and 28,735 vehicles, representing year-on-year increases of 5.7%, 1.1%, and 2.8%, respectively. Of these, 5,163 were new-energy vehicles, up 64.1% year-on-year. The day’s figures for actual sailings, passenger volume, vehicle volume, and new-energy vehicle volume all set new single-day records for the May Day holiday period.
