On April 28, Onvo Auto held the L80 Product Technology Launch Event in Hangzhou, unveiling the vehicle’s pre-sale prices: starting at RMB 245,800 for outright purchase, or from RMB 159,800 with the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription plan. Positioned as an intelligent, dual-cabin flagship large five-seater SUV, the L80 measures 5,145 mm in length and emphasizes spatial flexibility and advanced smart technology features. Developed to address key pain points faced by users of large five-seater SUVs—particularly regarding interior space utilization and energy replenishment convenience—the L80 leverages NIO’s over RMB 67 billion in cumulative R&D investment over more than a decade and its nationwide network of over 8,000 charging and battery-swap stations. The vehicle integrates Onvo’s flagship core technologies in cabin space optimization, vehicle safety, and lightweight engineering, alongside NIO’s intelligent tech suite. It offers two autonomous driving configurations: an Orin-X-based pure vision version and a version equipped with NIO’s proprietary Shenshi chip plus LiDAR. The L80 features a “Super Dual-Cabin” architecture and supports multiple factory-installed accessory options, enabling functionalities such as carrying family cycling gear, customized camping kits, and a three-section adaptive full-size bed. Exterior color options include six choices, while the interior offers four thematic designs. Customers who place a pre-order during the pre-sale period and finalize their configuration by July 31, 2026, will receive a discount of RMB 3,000 off the purchase price with a RMB 1,000 deposit. First-time Onvo owners who repurchase an Onvo vehicle will receive 30,000 loyalty points; first-time owners of NIO or Firefly vehicles who repurchase an Onvo will receive 10,000 points. Display vehicles are now available at showrooms nationwide, test drives open on May 1, and official market launch is scheduled for May 15.
