Recently, a video showing a smart voice assistant nearly trapping a child while adjusting the front passenger seat has drawn public attention. In response, an owner of Li Auto conducted a real-world test of the vehicle's "Zero Gravity" seat feature. During the test, when attempting to activate the front passenger Zero Gravity mode via voice command, the car’s infotainment system responded with: “Zero Gravity mode cannot be activated when someone is in the front passenger seat.” To verify the anti-pinch mechanism, the tester issued a voice command to adjust the rear Zero Gravity seats while half-squatting above the front passenger seat. As the tester suddenly sat down during the adjustment process, the seat immediately stopped moving, and the system simultaneously displayed the message: “Occupant detected on seat; adjustment paused for your safety.” The test demonstrated that the vehicle prevents or interrupts activation of Zero Gravity mode whenever it detects someone occupying the seat.
