The Audi E7X will open for pre-orders on May 8. As Audi’s second mass-produced all-electric vehicle, it is positioned as a five-seat mid-to-large SUV, measuring 5,049 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. Two powertrain variants will be offered: a single-motor rear-wheel-drive version delivering a maximum output of 300 kW, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version with a combined output of 500 kW. The top speed for both versions is 230 km/h. The vehicle will be equipped with either a 100 kWh or a 109.3 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 730 km and 751 km, respectively. Exterior design features a closed-off front grille, an illuminated light bar spanning the front fascia, and integrated “Starlight Crystal Light Curtains” composed of dot-matrix micro-perforations on both ends of the light bar. The central section displays the “AUDI” lettering badge. The front bumper adopts a geometric design. The side profile showcases smooth lines, semi-recessed door handles, a slightly sloping roofline, large black floating wheels, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. At the rear, full-width OLED taillights stretch across the tailgate, which bears the “AUDI” emblem at its center, while a silver skid plate accents the lower rear bumper. Inside, the cabin features a panoramic triple-screen setup comprising a fully digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment display, and a passenger-side entertainment screen, all powered by Audi’s new AUDI OS operating system—expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. The in-car voice assistant is customized based on Volcano Engine’s “Doubao” large language model, supporting multi-turn conversations and vehicle control functions.
