The BYD Han is scheduled to make its official debut in May and reveal its pricing in June. Positioned in the mid-to-large premium new energy vehicle segment, it targets a market similar to that of the previously announced pre-sale price range of RMB 250,000–320,000 for the Tang EV. Unofficial renderings show the Han features a family-style front fascia derived from the Tang, equipped with a full-width light bar, vertical air intakes on both sides of the lower bumper, and LED daytime running lights. The images also depict a two-tone paint scheme and matching large brake calipers, though the final production design will be confirmed upon official release. Interior spy shots indicate that the front cabin layout closely resembles that of the Tang, including an identical steering wheel design, continuing BYD’s flagship models’ minimalist and tech-oriented aesthetic. Powertrain-wise, the Han will be offered in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (EV) variants, with all models standard-equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and fast-charging technology. Given the Tang EV’s maximum range of 950 km, the Han EV is expected to achieve a range of up to 1,000 km.
