SAIC Motor's MG brand has announced that blind pre-orders for its all-electric SUV, the MG 4X, will open on May 11. The vehicle features MG’s illuminated logo design, supports OPPO’s Smart Mobility ecosystem connectivity, and comes standard across all trims with Horizon Robotics’ JETMAP large AI model and semi-solid-state batteries, offering a CLTC-rated range starting from 510 kilometers. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 405th batch of the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," the MG 4X measures 4,500 mm in length, 1,849 mm in width, and 1,621 mm (or 1,627 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. It is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle, delivering a rated power of 80 kW and a peak power of 150 kW.
