Jaguar will unveil the official name of its production-ready Type 00 electric GT sports car on May 12, with a full launch planned for September. The first deliveries are expected in early 2027. Initially revealed as a concept in December 2024 under the internal codename X900, the vehicle is built on Jaguar’s dedicated electric architecture and features a tri-motor setup—one motor on the front axle and two on the rear—delivering over 1,000 horsepower and peak torque of approximately 1,300 Nm (959 lb-ft). It offers a maximum range of up to 692 kilometers and supports DC fast charging, adding around 322 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes. Standard equipment includes 23-inch wheels, with 21-inch wheels available as an option, along with dual-chamber air springs and adaptive dampers. Jaguar’s managing director previously indicated that the car is expected to be priced at around $130,000.
