Dong Mingzhu Appointed Zeekr Quality Experience Officer as Geely and Gree Deepen Collaboration to Advance Made-in-China

On April 28, Li Shufu, Chairman of Geely Holding Group, visited the headquarters of Gree Electric Appliances in Zhuhai and presented Dong Mingzhu, Chairwoman of Gree Electric, with an official appointment letter, inviting her to serve as "Zeekr Quality Experience Officer." In this role, Dong will have priority access to preview and participate in quality assurance for every new Zeekr product launch. Previously, Dong had publicly become an owner of the Zeekr 009 Glory edition, with Li Shufu personally presiding over her vehicle delivery ceremony. During Geely Auto’s fiscal year 2025 earnings briefing, Yang Xueliang, Senior Vice President of Geely Group, disclosed that Dong Mingzhu personally ordered three Zeekr 009 vehicles, while her subordinates collectively ordered six more, totaling nine units. These vehicles were purchased under the company’s large-client discount policy, without any additional special discounts. Dong expressed her support for domestic premium brands, stating that high-quality products naturally earn market recognition. She emphasized that whether in air conditioners or automobiles, Gree and Zeekr share the common goal of showcasing the strength and confidence of “Made in China.” This collaboration reflects the aligned vision of Geely Holding Group and Gree Electric in advancing Chinese manufacturing onto the global stage.
