According to the China Automobile Residual Value Research Report released in April 2026, among all-electric vehicles (EVs), the Tesla Model X topped the three-year residual value ranking at 62.2%, followed by the Model 3 and Model Y at 61.9% and 55.0%, respectively. Among domestically produced models, the BYD Seagull achieved the highest residual value at 53.5%, closely followed by the Zeekr 009 at 53.3%. The Porsche Taycan ranked sixth with a residual value of 51.6%. Models such as the Roewe iMAX8 NEV, Avatr 12, and Denza D9 clustered around the 50% mark. Meanwhile, the NIO ET5, Baojun Yep, AION Y, Dolphin, Wuling Bingo, and Leapmotor C11 recorded residual values ranging between 48% and 50%. The data indicates a growing polarization in EV residual values, with Tesla maintaining its lead due to strong brand influence and high market penetration, while several popular domestic models continue to see rising residual values.
