At approximately 2 p.m. on May 8, 2026, a road collapse occurred at the intersection of Huanghe 13th Road and Bohai 16th Road in Bincheng District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, causing a car to sink into the crater. Immediately after the incident, local authorities from water services, public security, and housing and urban-rural development departments rushed to the scene, promptly removing the trapped vehicle. No injuries were reported. Preliminary investigations indicate that the collapse was caused by underground pipeline leakage eroding the roadbed.
