BYD's subsidiary brand Linghui Auto has launched its second strategic model—the Linghui e9—offering three variants: the 535 Luxury, 605 Flash Charge Luxury, and 605 Flash Charge Flagship. Official prices range from RMB 150,800 to RMB 169,800. Buyers will enjoy four exclusive purchase benefits. Exterior design features the "Stellar Radiance" business-oriented front fascia, equipped with a Crystal Star Matrix grille and Ice Soul Flowing Light LED headlights. The headlight housings deliver an ice-crystal texture and dynamic flowing-light welcome effects. Two exterior color options are available: Ink Black and Mist Grey. Measuring 4,995 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm, the Linghui e9 is positioned as a C-segment sedan. Its trunk offers 485 liters of cargo space, catering to luggage demands for business travel and chauffeur services. Powertrain-wise, all variants feature a front-mounted electric motor, offered in two outputs: 135 kW (184 hp) / 250 N·m and 150 kW (204 hp) / 305 N·m. Both are paired with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, delivering CLTC-rated ranges of 535 km and 605 km, respectively. The vehicle supports flash charging technology, claiming significant charge replenishment in just 5 minutes and a full charge in 9 minutes. Even in extreme cold conditions (-30°C), charging time increases by only 3 minutes. The battery has passed nail penetration and thermal propagation tests, exceeding China’s latest national safety standards. To alleviate range anxiety, BYD plans to build 20,000 flash-charging stations nationwide by the end of 2026. For intelligent driving, the Linghui e9 is equipped with the "God’s Eye C" advanced driver-assistance system, integrating 26 high-precision sensors—including millimeter-wave radar, multi-view HD cameras, and ultrasonic sensors—to support highway navigation assist, all-scenario automatic parking, remote parking, and valet parking functions. The suspension system combines a front MacPherson strut with a rear five-link setup, complemented by FSD variable-damping shock absorbers that intelligently adjust damping based on road conditions, balancing ride comfort and handling performance. Linghui Auto is BYD Group’s fifth independent sub-brand, targeting both B2B fleet operations and B2C private ownership. The newly launched Linghui e9 is primarily aimed at four key use cases: family vehicles, premium ride-hailing services, government/enterprise official cars, and business hospitality—serving individual consumers, ride-hailing drivers, and public/private institutional clients alike.
