BAIC Group April Sales Top 121,900 Units; Arcfox Qwen V9 to Launch and Deliver in Q2

BAIC Group reported April sales exceeding 121,900 units, including over 84,000 units from its self-owned brands, up 12% year-over-year. Sales of new energy vehicles surpassed 30,600 units, a 34% year-over-year increase, while overseas sales exceeded 25,000 units, rising 16% year-over-year. The Arcfox Qwen V9 is scheduled to launch and begin deliveries within Q2. Pre-sales have already commenced, offering four configurations with pre-sale subsidized prices ranging from RMB 219,900 to RMB 286,900. The Arcfox Qwen V9 measures 5,300 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,850 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,200 mm. It is available in nine exterior colors. Interior color options include Snow White, Danxia Brown, and Elegant Black. The cabin features a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. The second-row seats are zero-gravity seats offering 124° recline, 16-point massage, electric leg rests, graphene-based heating and ventilation, along with a 21.4-inch high-definition ceiling-mounted screen, foldable tray tables, and an 11-liter onboard refrigerator with both cooling and heating functions. Powering the vehicle is Huawei’s “Snowy Owl” intelligent silent range-extender system, comprising a 1.5T range extender (maximum output: 118 kW) and a drive motor (peak power: 227 kW; peak torque: 320 N·m). Two battery options are available: a 37 kWh LFP battery and a 53.4 kWh ternary lithium battery. Under CLTC standards, their respective all-electric ranges are 216 km and 310 km, with total combined ranges reaching 1,250 km and 1,330 km. Both batteries support 3C/4C fast charging, enabling a charge from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
