The 2026 BYD Seagull will officially launch on May 11, with the automaker positioning it as "the first A00-segment vehicle capable of being equipped with LiDAR." The new model has already arrived at dealerships, featuring updated exterior and interior designs as well as an upgraded motor output increased to 60 kW. It offers a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 505 kilometers. The vehicle comes with enhanced dual windshield wipers for improved wiping performance and is available in five exterior colors: Sunny White, Sprout Green, Peach Pink, Mint Aqua, and Orange Glow. Interior color options include Dune Pink, Ocean Blue, and Oat Beige. The rear badge reads “God’s Eye B,” indicating that the model can be optionally equipped with a LiDAR system.
