BYD released a statement via its official Weibo account, stating that recent online rumors claiming "BYD was summoned for a meeting and placed under investigation" are false and constitute fabricated misinformation. The company urged the public not to believe or spread such rumors and noted that certain online accounts have maliciously disseminated false information. BYD has already preserved relevant evidence and will pursue legal action accordingly.
