The Yijing X9 has officially debuted in the application drawings published under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 407th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products." The vehicle measures 5,301 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm, positioning it as a large six-seater SUV. Developed jointly by Dongfeng Motor and Huawei Qiankun, the X9 belongs to "Yijing," a premium new energy brand co-launched by both parties, and will make its global debut at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. The Yijing X9 is among the first vehicles to feature Huawei’s Harmony Space 6 intelligent cockpit. It comes equipped with dual 17.2-inch butterfly-wing displays in the front row, supporting independent NFC interaction on both screens, and integrates the HUAWEI XSCENE in-car laser projection system for immersive, multi-mode viewing experiences. Inside the cabin, it also features Huawei’s XiaoYi AI agent and an AI multimodal perception system, offering functions such as anti-pinch protection and child presence reminders. Under the hood, the vehicle is built on the Chitu platform, which is based entirely on Huawei Qiankun’s XMC digital chassis engine. It features an all-aluminum chassis structure fine-tuned with input from European engineering teams. For safety, the X9 is equipped with Huawei Qiankun’s CAS 5.0 comprehensive safety system, utilizes 2,400 MPa ultra-high-strength hot-stamped steel in its body structure, and incorporates a triple-layer, bullet-resistant-grade battery armor design.
