The Buick Zhi Jing L7 all-electric variant has appeared in the latest batch of vehicle registration documents released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), with a planned launch in the third quarter of this year. The model comes standard across all trims with an 800V high-voltage architecture, 6C ultra-fast charging technology, and CATL batteries. Its exterior design carries over from the range-extended version, featuring Buick’s "Aquatic Aesthetics" design language, Galaxy Starry Sky wing-shaped headlights, and an automatically opening and closing front grille. The vehicle measures 5,032 mm in length with a 3,000 mm wheelbase—identical to the range-extended variant. At the rear, it features a full-width light bar with matrix illumination and dynamic lighting effects. Powering the vehicle is an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 282 kW.
