Jia Yueting has returned as Global CEO of Faraday Future (FF), and Jerry has been appointed Global Executive Chairman. This leadership reshuffle marks the full return of the founding team and signifies FF’s entry into its fourth phase of development. FF is strategically repositioning itself as a U.S.-based physical AI ecosystem company, focusing on embodied artificial intelligence (EAI) robotics. The company will prioritize two key product lines: EAI humanoid and biomimetic robots, and EAI automotive robots. Initially, FF will concentrate on humanoid and biomimetic robots; the automotive robot business will only be fully launched once strategic or medium-to-long-term investors are secured and sufficient funding is in place to support mass production and deliveries. Additionally, on May 7, FF announced adjustments to its first mass-production vehicle plan. The initial batch of Super One vehicles will adopt either an 800V pure-electric architecture or AIHER hybrid-extended range technology, while the previously planned 400V vehicle collaboration project has been put on hold. The company stated that the 800V architecture enhances driving range, charging speed, and powertrain efficiency.
