Jingxi ZhiXing’s iDBC1 integrated brake-by-wire control system (1-Box) has entered large-scale mass production in the European market and is now equipped on vehicles from a leading global automotive group. Another next-generation brake-by-wire product will commence mass production in the North American market in June. These two products will be deployed across nine models based on the group’s new vehicle platform, with the total project value amounting to approximately RMB 2.1 billion. Brake-by-wire systems represent a critical technology for advanced autonomous driving in intelligent electric vehicles and constitute the most technically demanding and strategically vital component within the chassis execution layer. Historically, the overseas market has been dominated by European companies. Jingxi ZhiXing has achieved a breakthrough through its own technological expertise: in 2020, its iDBC2 (2-Box) system was adopted by Rimac for its flagship all-electric hypercar, the Nevera, and its subsequent variant, the Nevera R; in 2023, its DBC1280 electronic stability control (ESC) system successfully entered the supply chain of a leading North American automaker. With the mass production of these two brake-by-wire systems in Europe and North America, Jingxi ZhiXing has become the first and only Chinese company to comprehensively enter both the European and American brake-by-wire markets, marking a pivotal advancement for China’s core chassis technologies within the global automotive supply chain. The company’s mass-produced products were co-developed by teams based in China, Europe, North America, and Brazil, enabling seamless 24/7 global collaborative R&D and project management across three time zones—capable of meeting complex technical requirements and stringent development standards of global customers.
