A user was found by the court to have committed infringement by posting content disparaging Seres vehicles and the Aito brand through multiple online accounts—including “Man Ge Dian New Energy Technology Training”—on platforms such as Toutiao, Bilibili, Kuaishou, and Douyin between December 2023 and October 2024. The court ordered the user to cease the infringing acts, delete the relevant videos, issue a public apology, and pay RMB 160,000 in compensation for economic losses. The user has since published an apology statement, acknowledging the wrongdoing, confirming the deletion of all infringing content, pledging not to make any further inappropriate or false statements, and committing to help mitigate the negative impact. The statement also emphasized that cyberspace is not beyond the reach of the law and that speech must be grounded in facts.
