On May 11, Xiaomi Auto announced a significant reduction in delivery lead times for the YU7 and the new-generation SU7 models. Thanks to increased production capacity and enhanced delivery capabilities, some customers can now take delivery of their vehicles within six days after selecting and test-driving them, while most users receive their cars in about a week. Li Xiaoshuang, Vice President of Xiaomi Auto, stated that deliveries of the new-generation SU7 have accelerated and that the company has launched a test-drive gift promotion. Simultaneously, an official “share-your-delivery” campaign encourages owners to post their delivery experiences online to claim rewards. Some owners reported that the vehicle’s advanced driver-assistance system operates smoothly, making it well-suited for long-distance interprovincial travel, and praised its exterior design and paint quality. Daily driving performance has also exceeded expectations. The current delivery timeline has effectively alleviated earlier bottlenecks and aligns well with the peak demand for spring travel.
