The 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition closed on May 3. During the show, Qianchuan Technology unveiled its virtualized smart cockpit solution—built on MediaTek’s Dimensity Automotive Chip Platform—which made its public debut across more than 20 mass-production vehicle models. These models are scheduled to roll out and begin deliveries starting from Q2 2026. Co-developed by Qianchuan Technology and MediaTek, this solution features four key technological advantages: First, it leverages high-performance virtualization to enable concurrent operation of multiple operating systems on a single chip with dynamic resource scheduling, reducing hardware costs by over 20% and boosting overall system performance by 35% compared to traditional multi-chip solutions. Second, it integrates Qianchuan’s self-developed secure microkernel, Nebula Hypervisor, which has achieved ISO 26262 ASIL D certification. The solution also relies on an integrated management platform combining ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434 standards to meet global safety compliance and quality management requirements. Third, it offers a standardized platform baseline that supports rapid adaptation across different chip platforms and operating systems, shortening new vehicle development cycles from an average of 18 months to under 10 months. Fourth, it provides an open ecosystem compatible with mainstream automotive operating systems and existing application ecosystems, enabling automakers to flexibly customize features without having to redevelop underlying architectures. As a foundational software provider, Qianchuan Technology has enabled seamless multi-screen interaction and stable system performance across multiple vehicle models, marking its entry into large-scale mass production of smart cockpit technologies. Moving forward, the company will continue advancing the application of AI and AI Agent technologies in cockpit scenarios.
