The production-ready Xiaomi YU7 GT in "Cherry Red" has already undergone undisguised road testing, though its wheels remain partially covered. Positioned as a sports-car-grade SUV, the vehicle is officially dubbed a “pure-blooded GT,” emphasizing both driving excitement and long-distance comfort. It delivers a maximum output of 1,003 PS, a top speed of 300 km/h, and a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 705 km. The vehicle measures 5,015 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,597 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Its curb weight is 2,460 kg, and gross vehicle weight is 2,910 kg, configured with five seats. Tire sizes are 265/40R21 at the front and 295/35R21 at the rear, with front and rear track widths of 1,715 mm and 1,721 mm respectively. Approach and departure angles are 14° and 18°. Power comes from dual motors—one on each axle—with outputs of 288 kW (front) and 450 kW (rear), supplied by Inovance Auto Powertrain System Co., Ltd. and Xiaomi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. The battery is a ternary lithium-ion pack; cells are provided by Jiangsu Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL Jiangsu), and the complete battery assembly is manufactured by Zhongzhou Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. Exterior styling carries over the YU7 design language, featuring the brand’s signature “teardrop-shaped headlights” and an openwork front fascia. The side profile incorporates low-drag aerodynamics, frameless side mirrors, and flush-fitting electric door handles, along with ten integrated air channels and 19 air vents. At the rear, it retains the SU7’s subtle ducktail spoiler and “halo taillights,” complemented by a blade-style diffuser. Close-up images suggest the possible inclusion of carbon-ceramic brake discs. The model was listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 404th batch of vehicle announcements in February 2024 and is scheduled for an official launch by the end of May.
