Changan Qiyuan's A06 model has recently drawn a wave of complaints from owners due to oil film buildup and nighttime glare issues affecting its dual-camera advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS). The affected variant is the 2026 model year A06 630 Laser Ultra Edition. Owners consistently report a noticeable oily residue on the camera lenses, which causes severe glare and light scattering when driving at night—particularly when encountering streetlights or oncoming headlights—compromising visibility and impairing ADAS functionality. The issue persists even after cleaning, typically reappearing within a short period and proving impossible to resolve permanently. Over 100 owners have reported identical symptoms, with highly consistent descriptions of the problem. Most have visited authorized Changan dealerships seeking solutions, but the manufacturer has so far offered only "basic wiping" as a remedy. Several owners confirmed this temporary fix lasts less than two weeks before the same issue recurs. They are urging the automaker to acknowledge the root cause, abandon stopgap measures, publicly disclose the underlying fault, and roll out a standardized, effective technical solution to all dealerships nationwide. As of now, Changan Qiyuan has not issued an official statement regarding this matter.
