The official manufacturer-suggested retail price ranges from RMB 309,800 to RMB 359,800, with a limited-time promotional price of RMB 299,800 to RMB 349,800. Its exterior features a full-width LED light bar, an illuminated Volkswagen logo, and rectangular LED daytime running lights. Inside, it is equipped with a 15.6-inch dual-screen setup for the central console and a 21.4-inch ceiling-mounted rear-seat display, both featuring view-angle compensation film. The cabin adopts a six-seat layout, with executive-grade second-row seats including a "Queen Seat." It debuts SAIC Volkswagen’s dynamic zero-gravity seats, which feature seat cushion airbags with a capacity of 12 liters. In terms of intelligent driving, the ID. ERA 9X is equipped with the Xingyun Intelligent Driving Assistance System, co-developed by SAIC Volkswagen and Momenta. The system includes 26 perception sensors and supports functions such as narrow-space assistance, highway and urban navigation-assisted driving, intelligent parking, and path-tracing reverse maneuvers. The chassis utilizes the Xingyun Intelligent Chassis System with dual-chamber air suspension, offering an adjustable travel range of up to 150 mm. Powering the vehicle is an EA211 1.5T range extender paired with dual motors—front and rear—delivering maximum outputs of 370 kW and 380 kW respectively, and a peak torque of 660 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds. It is offered with a 65.2 kWh battery pack, providing CLTC-rated all-electric ranges of either 347 km or 406 km, and combined ranges of up to 1,611 km or 1,651 km. Based on an 800V high-voltage platform, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 19 minutes or 16.5 minutes, depending on the variant.
