Xiaomi Auto plans to launch four new models before the end of 2024. The first model is the YU7 GT, a high-performance all-electric GT SUV, which will officially debut at the end of May. It carries forward the YU7’s design language and features a motor delivering up to 1,003 PS, a top speed of 300 km/h, and a CLTC-rated range of 705 km. The vehicle has been tuned on the Nürburgring circuit. The second model is an entry-level version of the YU7. It maintains the same dimensions as the current YU7 but adopts a single rear-mounted motor rated at 235 kW. Its curb weight has been reduced to 2,200 kg and it comes with either 19-inch low-drag wheels or 20-inch “rice” or “plum blossom” pattern wheels. Powered by a 73.0 kWh LFP battery pack, it offers a CLTC range of 633 km or 643 km, depending on the wheel configuration, and is expected to be priced lower than the standard YU7. The third model is an entirely new extended-range electric SUV, internally codenamed “Kunlun.” It will be launched under Xiaomi’s independent sub-brand “SKYNOMAD” (Chinese name: “Xun Tian”), targeting families, long-distance travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The Kunlun series will include multiple variants: a five-seater, a seven-seater (Kunlun N3), and a pop-up roof tent version. Future additions will include the Kunlun N1 (compact five-seater) and Kunlun N2 (larger five-seater). These vehicles will feature exclusive badging and will no longer carry the Xiaomi logo. Trademark applications for this sub-brand began in April 2023, with some already successfully registered. The fourth model appears to be a long-wheelbase variant of the SU7, codenamed “MS11-L.” Compared to the standard SU7 (codenamed MS11), it features a longer body while retaining the fastback silhouette. With an estimated length approaching 5.1 meters, it aims to enhance rear passenger space and will be positioned as the “SU7 Executive Edition.” Spy photos of this model undergoing road testing have previously surfaced, though there have been no recent updates on its development.
