On May 12, according to U.S. media reports, nearly 20 founders or chief executives of major American companies will join President Donald Trump’s upcoming delegation to China. The list, disclosed by White House officials, includes leaders from key firms across sectors such as technology and hardware. Executives participating in the visit include Apple CEO Tim Cook, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, Meta President Dina Powell McCormick, Cisco Chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins, II-VI Incorporated (now Coherent Corp.) CEO Jim Anderson, Micron Technology Chairman and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, and Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon, among others. The business delegation is expected to engage with Chinese counterparts on issues including trade and investment during the visit.
