Renault has recently unveiled the all-new Renault 4 JP4X4, a fully electric crossover concept positioned as a battery-electric vehicle with permanent all-wheel drive capability. The exterior features a fresh design language, characterized by a boxy front end with rectangular light strips combined with circular headlight clusters. The central brand emblem is illuminated, enhancing its distinctiveness. Sharp character lines run along the sides of the body, with black cladding covering the wheel arches and low-drag aerodynamic wheels. The lower section of the doors incorporates an openwork design. The rear end maintains a rugged appearance and notably omits a rear window, pairing with an open-top roof to deliver an expansive field of view. Inside, the cabin prioritizes simplicity and practicality, featuring a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a dual-screen setup comprising a digital instrument cluster and a central infotainment display. Multiple physical buttons are retained below the center console for ease of use without visual attention. Door handles adopt a woven strap design. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a pure electric drivetrain complemented by a permanent all-wheel-drive system.
