At the Baidu AI Developer Conference held on May 13, 2026, Shen Dou, Executive Vice President of Baidu Group and President of Baidu Intelligent Cloud, announced that Baidu Intelligent Cloud supported the delivery of over 20 million new vehicles equipped with Level 2 (L2) advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) in the previous year. Leveraging its full-stack AI cloud architecture—comprising chips, cloud infrastructure, models, and simulation platforms—Baidu Intelligent Cloud provides end-to-end support across the entire workflow, from R&D, training, and simulation to testing and mass production, for leading companies across the automotive ecosystem, including OEMs, battery manufacturers, chipmakers, and autonomous vehicle firms. Its partners include Geely, NIO, and CATL.
