The Zhijie V9 has been announced to feature the HUAWEI SOUND Ultimate audio system with independent sound zone technology. As the first flagship MPV in the Harmony Intelligent Mobility (HIMA) 9-series lineup, the vehicle opened for small-batch reservations on April 22, 2024, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 399,800 to RMB 529,800. The audio system adopts a 9.3.8 independent channel configuration, equipped with 35 speakers and amplifiers delivering a total output of 2,920W. Combined with Huawei’s proprietary acoustic tuning algorithms, it achieves high-fidelity audio reproduction. Evaluations show that at high volumes, the system delivers stable bass, natural midrange, and fatigue-free treble—performance comparable to luxury vehicles such as the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Toyota Alphard. The speakers feature a “Stellar Bloom” aesthetic design, crafted using three-dimensional embossing and a high-perforation-rate structure to minimize sound loss. Eight overhead speakers are integrated into the roof, working in tandem with the 9.3.8 channel layout to create a 720° immersive sound field. Directional spatial audio is achieved through mid/high-frequency speakers mounted on door panels, 45° star-ring diffusers, and adaptive sound-field control algorithms, ensuring precise sound source localization and clear audio perception for both front and rear passengers. The vehicle includes an independent sound zone function powered by eight headrest-mounted speakers, forming four individual personal audio zones. This setup allows the driver to listen to navigation instructions, the front passenger to enjoy music, and rear passengers to watch their own content—all without interference. The Privacy Sound Shield 2.0 feature leverages white-noise masking algorithms and head-tracking rendering technology to suppress rear-seat conversations, ensuring the driver remains undisturbed. Built on Huawei’s Tuling MPV-customized platform, the Zhijie V9 measures approximately 5.3 meters in length and is powered by Huawei’s Snowy Owl intelligent extended-range system, offering a CLTC combined driving range of 1,320 kilometers. For intelligent driving, it features Huawei’s next-generation Qiankun system. The chassis employs a front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link suspension setup, supporting rear-wheel steering and a tight turning radius. Safety features include 13 airbags, third-row seat auto-return functionality, and second-row full-surround side airbags. The cabin is equipped with a panoramic triple-screen display, the segment’s largest ceiling-mounted screen, an onboard refrigerated cooler, an oxygen generator utilizing MOFs adsorption materials, HUAWEI XPIXEL million-pixel smart projection headlights, and interactive illuminated welcome carpets on the side doors. Within 72 hours of its pre-sale launch, the Zhijie V9 received over 22,500 orders and will officially debut on May 15.
